Grand Designs magazine feature Kutchenhaus Kitchens!

When it comes to being kind to the environment, we like to think that Kutchenhaus are one of the leaders in the UK’s kitchen industry, which is why we are delighted to be included in the recent Grand Designs magazine kitchen eco-feature.

All our man-made materials are manufactured bio-degradable in our factory in Germany, plus during the manufacturing process, there is no wastage, – every bit of waste is used somewhere else to ensure minimum surplus at all times.

In addition, Kutchenhaus, who are part of the world’s largest kitchen manufacturer Nobilia, were the first (and at the time only kitchen company in the world) to be accredited by the PEFC (Programmes for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification Schemes) a number of years ago. The Kutchenhaus entire range now conforms to PEFC, which means for the first time we have been able to introduce a wood kitchen range, secure in the knowledge that the oak used, only comes from PEFC approved sources.
